“Spring Forward” to Daylight Savings Time
“Spring forward” – that’s how we remember to put the clocks ahead in spring.
Yet so many of us feel we actually have less time than we did yesterday, I hour less to be exact.
(Interesting how we love Daylight Savings in autumn, when we set our clocks back and feel we gain an hour.)
Physically we can feel somewhat jaded.
Sleep experts say everyone should spend time in the sun today to help recover from losing an hour of sleep thanks to the change to daylight saving time. A bit of sunshine will get rid of the “jet-lag” feeling many people will be experiencing today.
But do you really have 1 hour less in your day today? Whether you choose to lose sleep or daytime is up to you.
In one way, you can say you have less time than the day before,
You also have less time that you did the day before yesterday.
Why? We all have limited time in our lives.
You don’t get more. You can’t create more. And you certainly can’t keep it from passing. For all of us, the runway is getting shorter.
Of course, the catch is, you never know just how much time you have left.
That’s just how the game of life works.
Do Something Worthwhile Today
You may not get another chance to do what you want to do.
Or more time to pursue that dream you have been putting off.
Or to tell that special person how you feel.
So, do it today.
Make every day and every hour count.
After all, it’s your time.
