An Attitude of Gratitude!
Driving home home the other night after an exhausting day at work with the traffic starting to irritate me, I couldn’t help but notice the stunning sunset across the bay.
My mind calmed and I thought of how beautiful my life and the universe can be, if I only notice and focus on the positive.
Focusing on the positive, being grateful for what I do have, rather than focusing on the negatives and the irritations of the day, is a wonderful way to finish the day.
Just before sleep, with my head on the pillow, I try to recall three things about the day that I am grateful for.
It’s better than a sleeping tablet to calm my mind and help me to a peaceful sleep.
And when I woke this morning, there was a spectacular sunrise to remind me again of how life is beautiful.
Do you regularly express your gratitude to others?
Be grateful for what you do have rather than getting tied down by what you don’t have.
Recognise that some of your dreams are just that – dreams.
But realise also that you can make some of your dreams come true – by working hard to bring them to reality.
